This blog is a collection of a series of considerations that analyze a crucial question for all of us: are we living in a time of changes or a change of times? In our time, centuries-old certainties and convictions are falling to pieces. We’ve entered the Relationship Era and the digital convergence between technology and human relationships is bringing forward the genes of an explosive innovation. Now, the challenge that all companies have to face is mostly a cultural one: those that will succeed in focusing on mankind and in reinventing themselves as an ecosystem founded on sharing a system of values will come out on top. My goal, the purpose of my life, is to participate to the overall evolution, moved by the idea that an Act of Love is the economic act par excellence. The simpler and thus the most effective: everybody wants to love and everybody wants to be loved. You get what you give. This blog is part of my contribution.
Everyone of us can become a New Hero. We all live in a time in history defined by an ongoing change of era. In a time of uncertainty, new possibilities open up to make this world a better place. It happens every time we welcome positive values in our lives and let them drive our actions. We can win the great challenge of our time, each time a person succeeds to inspire Gratitude in other men and women. Success will be measured by the amount of benefit we are able to create for others. New Heroes are different than regular people precisely because they act in order to make their life a gift, and to turn this gift into something relevant for the whole society they live in.
Love is the most effective expression of future economy: a spontaneous act that exalts the centrality of relations between people and produces wealth because it's based on the gift logic. A gift that everybody wants to receive and offer, often without asking anything in return.
I had the pleasure to participate as a speaker in international events such as the World Business Forum in Milan, Mexico City and Madrid, the Heroes Fest in Colombia, the TEDx in Rome, the LH Forum in San Patrignano, the World Marketing Summit in Tokyo, presenting my considerations on Economics 0.0, the ticket for a more sustainable economy, and on the rising of values and doing good as main paths for contemporary marketing.
